Do you have a Dog Boarding Licence?
Yes, we are licensed and registered with Lewes District Council.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured as Pet Boarder and Dog Walker with Cliverton Specialist Pet Insurance.
How many dogs do you have boarding?
Our policy is to accept a maximum of 3 dogs at any one time.
We want to make sure we can give your dog(s) the attention and love it needs.
How do your rates work?
We charge £25 per night.
Drop off is anytime between 8am and 8pm.
Collection up to 12 noon is included in the price.
Collection after 12 noon is at an additional charge:
– 12noon to 4pm £5
– 4pm to 8pm £10
Do you board young dogs?
We take dogs from the age of 10 months old (toilet trained)
Do you take all breeds?
Yes all breeds are welcome.
Do I need to supply my dogs food?
Yes please, bring any necessary food for the length of stay. If your dog is on a special diet, please provide instructions.
If your dog like treats, do bring them with you.
What do I need to bring?
Your dog, their lead, bed and food/drinking bowls and any of their favourite toys.
Do you need to meet my dog before I book him in?
Usually this is not necessary. We are confident your dog will like our environment.
If you prefer to introduce us before hand, we are more than happy to arrange a mutual convenient time.
Can you administer my dog medication?
Yes, we are happy to give your dog it’s medication. Please supply written details of doses and how your dog’s medicine is administered.
What vaccines are required for my dog to be able to stay?
Canine Distemper, Parvovirus, Canine Hepatitis, Leptospirosis.
Usually these vaccines will be administered during your Dog’s annual booster check.
What about fleas and worms?
All dogs staying with us must be wormed and flea checked before arrival.
What will happen if my dog is sick?
We will contact you first and ask if we can take your dog to the vet.
All vet fees and any associated transport costs will be charged to you.
Can I visit during my dog’s stay
We do not recommend you come and visit your dog while it is with us.
If necessary we can arrange a visit by mutual agreement.
Where will my dog sleep?
Your dog will sleep in our home, in the living room, dining room or conservatory wherever the dog feels the most comfortable.
Will my dog be left alone?
Your dog will rarely be left alone.
If however we do need to go out it will be for a maximum of 2 hours.
